Alan Pring is a photographer capturing the presence and impact of humanity. Inspired by photographers such as Robert Adams and Fay Godwin, Alan spends his time exploring the UK, examining the intertwining of modern society and the natural world.
As a child, his parents instilled a love of the outdoors and the natural world in him, something he explores in his work today. Alan’s work aims to create a photographic response to how humanity performs its role as caretakers of the world. He begins by looking at his home island of Britain.
